COPA-COGECA & CropLife Europe Transforming Farming Together

In 2021, CropLife Europe embarked on an ambitious mission: to simplify the lives of farmers across Europe by helping farmers produce more sustainably, facilitate their record-keeping, and ensure pesticides are used safely and responsibly.  The AgriGuide solution, A CropLife Europe initiative, provides machine-readable labels that enhance interoperability with farm machinery and sprayers, supporting farming operations.

We knew from the start that this could only be realised through collaboration.  Our partnership with COPA-COGECA, the united voice of farmers and agri-cooperatives in the EU, developed from initial conversations to a proactive cooperation enabling us to integrate the voices – from farmers to advisors – into every aspect of our development.

Co-creating solutions together

Through workshops, feedback sessions and pilot testing, COPA-COGECA have become positively  engaged in the co-creation of  the AgriGuide solution. This partnership has allowed us to deeply understand farmers’ challenges, refine our solutions to ensure practical relevance and foster trust within the farming community.

At the heart of our collaboration lies a shared commitment to simplification and focus on farmers’ needs. Our AgriGuide platform, with all its present and future features, embodies this philosophy by providing farmers with intuitive digital tools for label data visualisation and application data recording, facilitating compliance with the EU regulatory changes scheduled from January 2026. Developed with continuous farmer input, enabled by COPA-COGECA, our platform aims to transform words into action to meet farmers’ real operational needs whilst ensuring regulatory requirements are handled seamlessly.

A future rooted in farmer-centric design

As we look towards the future, our collaboration with COPA-COGECA will continue to evolve – not only in refining our current offerings, but also in identifying new opportunities whilst ensuring that our solutions reach the farmers on the ground.
Together, we demonstrate that when agricultural technology companies and farmers unite, we can create impactful solutions that truly support those who feed Europe.

This collaboration shows that the best agricultural innovations emerge not from boardrooms, but from the fields – with farmers’ voices guiding every step of the journey.
